Captain's Log... Death to da Beakies...

The ole Rogue Trader cover!

How do I put this...

Death to da Beakies!

Now that I have the gratuitous xenos war cry out of the way. I'd like to dedicate this light hearted article to my internet rival (only for this article) SinSynn, Loc, and Von (whom I don't know at all). I'd call them the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse but Loc is a woman, Von is a bearded man, and SinSynn is... still being studied by NASA... and there are only three of them. I don't recall Lauby except for this internet contest where if you come up with a witty quote they will use it in their banner and Lauby, Brent, and Dethtron smell the same way and I get them confused.

Captain's Log... Chaos on the Field...

This is the only picture your getting for the article since I forgot to take pictures

Why? Read the report from the CornerStones very own John Walker Redd after the break and you will know why.

Captain's Log... SPRBB Season 6...

Season Six for the Stony Point Refugee's Bacon League begins tonight with a preseason match of Chaos vs Dwarves. The report will follow in a day or two... perhaps with candid pictures this game and the rest of the season.

Here's hoping the CornerStones have a team after Daemon Dave and the Skulltakers are done. He actually 'tabled' (all models out of the rest of the match) a team last season... dwarves run by another coach.

I now return you to the corner of the internet without dwarf parts and puddles in it...

Captain's Log... Mason...

I read on the internet somewhere that no one wants to hear about the 'real' stuff in our lives if we want to have a successful blog. I don't agree. Our hobby like real life shapes us into the people we are out in the world and here on the internet.

Mason came to us from a shelter in Richmond Virginia where the people who found him had called him 'hit-by' due to the fact he hat been hit by a diesel truck of some sort. I was on my way overseas and my wife decided a dog was something she wanted so we got a roughly year old dog. He was a mixed pit-bull, chow, lab. He liked carpets, red sauce, and fuzzy squeaking toys.

Over the years from his behavior we surmised that he wasn't taken care of well early in his life and as he got older we just wanted to make sure that he was treated better then when things started out for him. I always worried that he would suffer as he got older.

Around the holidays we decided that it was best for him to stay with Nanny and Poppa because the smell of new carpet and flooring in the kitchen really 'riles' a dog up! :P

Mason died this morning at the  bottom of the stairs of Nanny and Poppa's after thirteen good years with us.

I'll be in the corner missing my dog...

Captain's Log... Easy...

Even Beaker can do it!

After the break is just a short explanation of what I've been 'puttering' with...
